Hello all! I'm Nightsilver, and in light of the new season, many fans are gathering here to celebrate and fill out the pages of this wonderful wiki! And to make this wiki open for all fans, I'm here to bring you all up-to-date with the site status and upcoming plans to boost it. First, you guys are doing a great job with the wiki. But wait, there's another wiki out there on the same topic - https://virginriver.fandom.com.
As it's a small wiki and this wiki could use an admin, this post will be an open discussion about combining this wiki with that one.
For a quick recap, a merge involves a "donor" wiki and a "recipient", wherein the "recipient wiki" is chosen as the wiki that remains by the "donor" transferring content to it and closing afterward, thereby preserving both communities. This wiki will be the selected recipient due to its content and community, and the admin of the donor community, Mafaldasoares02, will become the new admin and bureaucrat here. As this is a proposal, your feedback matters - if you think combining communities is a good idea or how should it be handled, share your thoughts below! The discussion will close on Monday, September 25, with the consensus decided then.
At the same time, we'll be opening up positions in content and discussion moderator positions. With the potential for a new admin joining the team, it would only be fair to get many of you hard-working users here to fill the big shoes of staff. For those who would like to nominate themselves or anybody, we will open a separate post for community feedback on these staff candidates.
Furthermore, I will be here during the month to assist and help out. In case you spot any feature that could use tidying up, or any general question or inquiry, you can reach out to me on my message wall or on Discord.
