Lark is a single mother and Brady's girlfriend in season 5 and 6, who was secretly working with Jimmy to scam Brady out of his money.
She has a daughter with Jimmy.
History[]
She lived at a pot camp. She is first seen during wildlife fire when Brady and Jack come to rescue people living at the pot farm. They go into the forest to try finding her daughter, Hazel who got lost due to the fire. Jack gives her keys to his truck to take other residents to a safe place in Virgin River. Finally, Brady and Jack manage to find her and bring her safely to her mother. Lark loses her home and lives secretly in Jack's trailer. Brady shows at the camp and finds Lark in one of the empty trailers. She and Hazel couldn’t sleep well and she decided to squat. Jack shows up and he decides that it’s okay for her to stay here for a bit. Brady isn’t sure it’s a good idea given it’s right in the middle of the construction site – and Melissa’s drug running operation.
Brady and Lark spend more time together where there’s romance brewing for them. Brady even plays dolls with Hazel.
When Brady catches wind of the FBI showing up at the glamping site and trying to take Lark away. They go skating together during Christmas and kiss when Brady tries to teach her how to do it. Her daughter takes part in Christmas play and Brady brings Hazel flowers to show his support. Brie sees them together and wishes Brady good luck with Lark.
While at Brady's, Lark receives a call and it turns out she’s being playing Brady this whole time. It’s Jimmy, and he happens to be Hazel’s father. Lark and Brie do not get along from the beginning, with Brie being suspitious of Lark.
In season 6, Lark continues her relationship with Brady while secretly working with Jimmy.
Brady informs Lark that the insurance cheque has finally come through. He is hoping to buy an old garage and turn it into a motorcycle shop. He believes the money will do them a lot of good. Later Lark visits Jimmy in prison to inform him that Brady’s insurance money has come through.
Lark lies that her mom is sick and needs medical treatment, but sadly has no insurance. Brady is supportive and comforts her, unaware that it is a scheme to scam him.
At the fire station, Brady offers to help Lark’s mom. She acts like she is against it, but this has always been her plan. Brady is called away to rescue a kid who has fallen into a sinkhole, and they table the conversation. After saving the boy, Brady runs into one of the guys from the pot farm. The man was surprised by Lark’s claim that her mom was sick, since he sees her every week and she looks fine. She even outdrinks him while playing cards.
With Preacher finally free, the town meets at the restaurant to celebrate. Lark ends up a bit late and Brie and Brady get a chance to talk for a while. Later, Lark makes a weird comment, thanking Brie for letting Brady go. Brady asks to visit Lark’s mom, but she insists that her mom needs treatment first.
Brady arrives and Doc thanks him for getting Jake out of the sinkhole, while Frank also thanks both of them. Frank asks after Lark and Hazel saying they were the lucky ones who have landed on their feet since the fire. But when Brady mentions that Lark's mother is gravely ill, Frank is confused and says he was playing cards with her only the other night and she was fine and even drank him under the table. Brady then asks Lark if her mom is sick, and she questions if he doesn’t trust her.
Brady promised Lark full honesty so he tells her about the voicemail Brie left him while being drunk at the bachelorette party. This, plus his love confession, drives Lark to visit Jimmy at the correctional facility, too. While there, Brie spots her, and one of the wardens reveals that Lark is dating Jimmy, and Hazel is his daughter.
At the restaurant, Brady closes up, ready to leave for the drive-in. Brie shows though and drops the bombshell truth about Lark. Brady is hurt and tries to kick her out. She waits for him to calm down before speaking again. Brady starts going off about how Lark’s betrayal is his karma, but Brie tells him that she was the one at fault for making him question if he is worthy of love. She goes on to say that she knows better now, and he deserves all the love. In turn, he says that everything he knows about love came from her. They get all hot and heavy as they comfort each other and start kissing. One kiss leads to another, and they end up sleeping together. The scene cuts to Lark dumping Jimmy again over the phone. She is convinced Brady loves her.
Brady confronts Lark and breaks up with her. She tries to explain herself and her involvement with Jimmy, but Brady refuses to give her a second chance.
Brady drops by the park to see Hazel, and Lark begs him for a second chance. Kaia talks to Brady and encourages him not to give up changing for the better after Pauline, Jeb's wife blamed him for her husband's death. This leads him to evaluate his relationship with Lark. He decides to give her a second chance.
Brady visits Jimmy and informs him that he is dating Lark and will look after Hazel. This sends Jimmy into a rage. Later, Lark shows him the little garage she leased to help him start his dream. They promise to work on their trust issues.
Brie runs into Lark and confronts her. She is under the impression that Lark and Brady broke up. Brie tells Lark she doesn't have to pretend to like her anymore since she is not with Brady. The guests start slowly arriving for Mel and Jack's wedding. Brie is shocked when Brady shows up with Lark. She confronts him, and they end up confessing their love for each other. Lark overhears their conversation and tries to give Brady the benefit of the doubt. However, at the reception, she asks what Brady talked about with Brie, and he lies to her. She makes up her mind to leave Virgin River and takes all of Brady’s money. She gives up her housekeeping job at Jo Ellen's inn without telling Brady and leaves with Hazel.
