Mike Valenzuela is Jack's friend who makes his first appearance in Season 2.
History[]
Mike served as a marine with Jack and Brady in Afghanistan. At some point after he left the marines, he join the LAPD. After Jack called him up to look into Calvin, he arrived to town. He immediately formed a connection with Brie Sheridan but at the time she was dating Brady so he never made a move.
When Brady approached him about wanting to be a C.I., he was the only one to know that the man was undercover investigating the new boss who took over for Calvin.
After testifying in a trial, he bumped into Brie who was testifying against her ex who raped her. Upon hearing over the wildfire in Virgin river, he stayed with Brie and her mother while they waited for news.
When Brie needed an extra player for her office baseball team, he joined in. After the game, they shared a kiss.
After Brady is taken, he is among the cops who headed to bring him home. During this, he is shot and taken to the hospital. Upon waking he found out that Brie was sitting by his bedside.
